Here is a beautiful 14" floor tom built in the "Ray Era". Serial number is A6946.
I believe the finish is called Cherry Wood. Overall this drum in very nice condition. Just a few minor scratches. The wood hoops are in excellent condition, no gouges or anything like that.
One thing to note, for each leg bracket the bottom mounting hole was enlarged slightly in order to replace the generic leg brackets for the correct Ayotte floor tom brackets. This is NOT visible from inside or outside of the drum once the bracket is attached.
