A great student horn.
I bought this used from Long and Mcquade a few years ago. It was twice this price, but approximately the same condition as it is now.
Comes with a gold plated 1B Dennis Wick "Heritage" mouthpiece, itself almost worth the pricetag. Along with the Jupiter 9E I assume it came with. And a robust Jupiter case.
Valves work smoothly. No dings on the tubing. A bit of laquer wear around the water-key.
I play an Olds Fullerton CA cornet and have had the occasion to play on this one, and am always pleasantly surprised how well it does.
The "Shepherd's Crook" might have something to do with it.
