USED IKEY-AUDIO HDR7 PORTABLE FIELD RECORDER

The HDR7 Portable Digital Field Recorder from Ikey Audio allows you to capture high-quality audio recordings anywhere you go, ideal for journalists, students, filmmakers, teachers, and more. The recorder has a compact handheld design with built-in X/Y microphones so you can record without any additional equipment. The HDR7 can record and play back stereo or mono files. It will capture audio as compressed MP3 or AAC files at up to 320kbps, or uncompressed WAV (BWF) or AIFF files at rates up to 24-bit/96kHz to suit any application. The card slot accepts readily-available SD/SDHC cards, and a 1GB card is included so you can record right away.

The recorder offers 3.5mm mic and line inputs, letting you connect a variety of microphones, instruments, and other audio sources. It also has a 3.5mm headphone/line output so you can connect headphones, powered speakers, send your audio to a mixer, etc. A standard USB 2.0 connector makes it easy to transfer your files to a computer. You can also attach a USB thumb drive (sold separately) and record directly to it!

The recorder has a color LCD screen for convenient navigation. It has limiter, compressor, and auto gain control functions, as well as a 3-level input gain switch. You can loop recordings, create markers, and more. It also has a stand mount so you can place it on the included stand or other mini tripod-type stands. The HDR7 can operate via the included AC power adapter or a set of 4 AA batteries. A windscreen and cloth carrying case are also included.
